The Beginning
Our founder, Bren, first discovered his passion for robotics when he saw humanoid robots on TV. Inspired by their human-like movement, he turned his house into a robotics lab and began building early prototypes. This passion led to a 10-year journey in top research labs worldwide, culminating in studying a Ph.D. in humanoid robotics at TUM.
With a track record of building and scaling companies, including Robotize and Bear Robotics, Bren has deployed 10k+ robots worldwide and raised $180M+ from top investors like SoftBank. His expertise bridges the gap between AI research and real-world applications, enabling robots to work seamlessly alongside humans.
Frustrated by the limitations of hardcoded robotics, our founder saw the potential of reinforcement learning to create robots that interact with the real world. With this vision, Kinisi Robotics was born. In just six months, we developed KR1, a prototype designed to tackle dirty, repetitive tasks across industries. Today, we’re scaling KR1 for full production to transform how physical work gets done.
Pushing Robotics Forward
At Kinisi, we build machines that move with purpose. Every detail, from our precision mechanics to real-time AI, is designed to make automation effortless. We don’t just engineer robots; we craft experiences that redefine how people and technology work together.
Core Values
Our core values not only define us as a company but also reflect the essence of each individual within our organization.
Every system, line, and motion is built for purpose. Precision and performance by design.
From torque curves to cable routing, we obsess over the fine points that define reliability.
Hardware, software, and people. Integrated from the ground up to deliver consistent, scalable progress.

ENGINEERED FOR REAL-WORLD IMPACT
In just a few short years, Kinisi has evolved from a research collective into a robotics company redefining how machines move, see, and act.
Our success comes from collaboration with leading operators, suppliers, and engineers, building robots that deliver reliable performance where it matters most. Looking ahead, we continue to advance mobility, balance, and intelligence—shaping the next generation of autonomous systems built for real work.
Through every prototype and pilot, we’ve advanced balance, control, and AI-driven awareness.
Today, our humanoid platforms take on real industrial tasks, from logistics to manufacturing, evolving alongside the people who depend on them.
“At Kinisi, we don’t sell science fiction. We build robots that actually get work done.”
“Warehouses are generally flat, so legs aren’t necessary. Why spend cash on 14 motors when two will do?”
